Sinan — offline-first practice management for dental clinics
Sinan is Gorizmy's own product: bilingual Arabic-French practice management software now deployed in dental practices across Algeria, from multi-practitioner clinics to solo practices.
In many Algerian dental practices, patient management used to run on paper records, appointment notebooks, and general-purpose spreadsheets, at a time when internet access could not be counted on at the moment a practitioner needed it. Sinan grew directly out of that reality, and we have since deployed it in clinics and individual practices across Algeria.

Software built for somewhere else
Most practice management software on the market is cloud-first. It assumes a stable, always-on connection; without one, you cannot open a patient file, review a treatment history, or record a procedure. One outage at the wrong moment and the clinic is working blind.
These tools also tend to ship in French or English only. In an Algerian clinic, the practitioner and the assistant do not necessarily read the same language with the same ease, and software the whole team cannot read gets worked around, then abandoned.
Then there is the data itself. Sending patient records to a remote server in another country is a legitimate concern for practitioners, and many would rather keep paper than trust a cloud they do not control.
Offline-first, bilingual by design
We inverted the usual assumption: Sinan treats the absence of internet as the normal case, not a failure. The application is fully usable with no connection at all, and patient data lives on the practitioner's own machine, inside the clinic. Every other architectural decision follows from that choice.
Every screen was designed in Arabic and French from day one, RTL-native rather than translated after the fact. And every product decision starts from how a real consulting day actually unfolds, from the front desk to the chair.
Offline-first architecture
The application works fully without internet; patient data stays on the clinic's own machine.
Bilingual AR/FR, RTL-native
The interface was designed in Arabic and French from the start, not localized as an afterthought.
Android tablet companion
A chair-side tablet talks to the practice PC over the clinic's local network, never through the internet.
Product-grade engineering discipline
Built with the same discipline we bring to client work: performance budgets, iteration guided by measurement, and decisions tested against real use.
What the architecture delivers in daily use
Sinan is a shipping product — sold, supported and in daily use in dental practices across Algeria, from larger multi-practitioner clinics to solo practices. The architecture delivers on its promise in daily use: a complete management tool that depends on no remote server and that every member of the team can read.
It is also a proving ground for the studio. The patterns behind Sinan — offline-first design, RTL-native bilingual interfaces, local-network sync — now inform how we build for clients in Algeria and the Gulf.
- Full functionality during internet outages, day after day
- Patient data stays in the clinic, under the practitioner's control
- One interface both practitioner and assistant read every day
- Chair-side use, day to day, through the local-network tablet companion
- The same architectural foundation, now applied across client projects
