Media production

Films, motion, 3D and illustration that carry the idea in seconds.

A good film says one thing, clearly, in a few seconds. Video and motion design at Gorizmy start from that idea: find what your audience needs to remember, then choose the form that carries it best, whether that is an explainer film, a 3D animation, an illustration or a character.

We write, draw, animate and edit in the same studio that designs your brand, your website and your print. The film speaks the same visual language as the rest of your communication from the first frame.

What we produce

Explainer films that present a product, a service or a process. Motion design for social media, presentations and welcome screens. Logo animations and short title sequences. 3D renders and animations of products, spaces or objects that do not exist yet. Illustrations and characters that become lasting landmarks for your audience.

Every deliverable comes in the formats you need: landscape for the website and presentations, vertical for stories and reels, square for feeds. Subtitles and language versions are part of the work, not a step bolted on at the end.

We deliver the final files and, where it helps, the source elements: characters, sets, 3D models and animation templates, so your next pieces of content build on what already exists.

Our method, from idea to final cut

Everything starts with a scoping conversation: who the film is for, what it should explain or prompt, where it will be seen and in which languages. We turn that into a short written intention that you approve before any image is made.

Then come the script and the storyboard. You see the film shot by shot before animation starts, which avoids expensive surprises late in production. We then set the style: colour, type, pace, voice and sound, always in line with your identity.

Production moves in visible stages: animatic, first frames, edit, finishing. Each stage has a clear approval point rather than a single review at the end. Delivery includes every agreed version, ready to publish.

A film made in your audience's language

Your audience often reads and listens in Arabic and a Latin-script language. A film designed in one language and subtitled in Arabic at the last minute shows it straight away: cramped text, poorly set Arabic type, a pace that no longer fits what is being said.

We design the language versions together, from the storyboard on. On-screen text is set for each reading direction, with Arabic typefaces chosen as carefully as Latin ones, and the edit accounts for the real length of each version.

Why Gorizmy: the same team, from brand to film

Gorizmy is an independent studio for brand, media, digital and print, working with clients in seven countries. The name comes from Algorizmi, the Latin form of al-Khwarizmi, the mathematician whose name gave us the word "algorithm". Our idea fits in one line: from ink to algorithm.

Because the same team also designs identities, websites and print, a film never starts from zero. It extends your brand, reuses its characters and colours, and can then feed your social media, your website and your printed material without changing its voice.

If your identity needs to be set first, our Branding & identity service comes upstream. And when the film needs a daily life, Graphic design & social media turns it into a consistent publishing system.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an explainer film or animation cost?

It depends on length, style (2D, 3D, illustration, live action), the number of language versions and formats, and how much writing is involved. After a scoping conversation we send a free, no-obligation quote, broken down stage by stage.

How long does it take to produce a film?

A short motion piece for social media takes a few days. A full explainer film usually takes a few weeks from script to final cut, depending on length, style and how quickly approvals come back. The exact schedule is set during scoping.

How does the collaboration work remotely?

Most of our clients work with us remotely, over video calls and shared documents, with an approval point at every stage: intention, script, storyboard, animatic, edit.

Can you produce the film in several languages?

Yes. The studio is trilingual by design: French, Arabic, English. Versions are planned from the storyboard, with text set for each reading direction and an edit adapted to each language.

Can we reuse the film's characters and elements?

Yes. We deliver the agreed source elements, such as characters, sets, 3D models and animation templates, so your next content builds on what already exists.
