A brand is also judged by what people hold: a brochure, a catalogue, a box, a badge, a sign they walk past. Packaging, editorial and signage design at Gorizmy means making your brand hold up in material form, with the same care it gets on screen.
We design the object, set every page and prepare the files for the printer, so the printed result matches what you approved.
What we design
Editorial: brochures, product catalogues, reports, books, magazines and company profiles. Packaging: boxes, labels, pouches and containers, from structure to graphics. Event material: roll-ups, banners, badges, invitations and booths. Signage: panels, plaques, wayfinding inside buildings and environmental graphics.
Presentations and document templates belong here too: a well-built presentation or proposal template saves your team hours on every new document and keeps your image consistent whoever writes it.
Our method, from mock-up to print file
Everything starts with a scoping conversation: what the object is for, who receives it, how many copies, in which languages, on what print budget. Those constraints decide format, paper and finishes long before the first sketch.
We then propose a layout direction and set the whole document. For packaging, we develop the structure and the die line alongside the graphics, and check the volume on a physical mock-up.
Print preparation is a stage in its own right: colour profiles, bleed, crop marks, embedded or outlined type, high-resolution image checks. You receive files any printer can use, and we can talk to yours directly.
Careful Arabic and Latin typesetting
Many documents have to speak Arabic and a Latin-script language at once: a bilingual catalogue, a regulatory label, a reception sign. That is where most layouts give way, with Arabic type added last, too small or out of line.
We set both scripts from the start, with Arabic typefaces chosen as carefully as Latin ones, a grid that works in both reading directions and a hierarchy that stays clear in each language.
Why Gorizmy: print inside a full studio
Gorizmy is an independent studio for brand, media, digital and print, working with clients in seven countries. The name comes from Algorizmi, the Latin form of al-Khwarizmi, the mathematician whose name gave us the word "algorithm". Our idea fits in one line: from ink to algorithm.
Print is not a side service for us: it is the ink in that line. The same team that designs your identity sets your documents and dresses your spaces, by the same rules. A catalogue, a website and a film come out of one system, and your brand is recognisable everywhere.
If your identity needs to be set first, our Branding & identity service comes upstream. And if a printed piece deserves a film or an animation, Media production carries the work on without changing hands.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to design a brochure, catalogue or packaging?
It depends on the number of pages or products, how much writing and photography is involved, the number of languages and, for packaging, how complex the structure is. After a scoping conversation we send a free, no-obligation design quote. Printing itself is priced by the printer.
How long does it take?
A simple piece such as a roll-up or a leaflet takes a few days. A catalogue, a book or a packaging range usually takes a few weeks, depending on volume and how quickly approvals come back. The exact schedule is set during scoping, including the printer's lead time.
How does the collaboration work remotely?
Most of our clients work with us remotely. We share layouts online at every stage and, for packaging, approve the volume on a mock-up before production.
Do you handle printing?
We deliver print-ready files and can work directly with the printer of your choice to sign off paper, finishes and proofs. Choosing the printer and placing the order stay in your hands.
Do you work in Arabic and several languages?
Yes. The studio is trilingual by design: French, Arabic, English. We set bilingual documents in both reading directions from the first layout.
